Our Helplines

Our helplines are operational 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. We are somewhat unique in this 24/7 coverage. There are very few other options for immediate long-term care advice, support, or assistance on a Friday night at 10 PM or on a holiday at noon.

All helpline requests are handled by Voices volunteers and all assistance is provided free of charge.

On an initial call, you will be asked if this is an emergency or if you can wait for a call back.

If you need immediate help:

Let our answering service operater know this and you will either be connected directly with a volunteer or a volunteer will call you back in a few minutes.

If your issue is not an emergency:

In this case, leave a message and a Voices volunteer will return your call within 24 hours.
